Chidinma Grace Nwokocha is a current Juris Doctor (JD) student at Tulane University Law School with concentration in Sports Law. She serves as a member of various organizations and is licensed to practice law in New York and Nigeria. In 2021, she obtained an LLM in International and Comparative Law also from Tulane and worked briefly as a Law Clerk at a Law Firm in New Orleans. Prior to enrolling at Tulane, she obtained her undergraduate degree in law from Nnamdi Azikiwe University and proceeded to the Nigerian Law School. Upon her call to the Nigerian Bar in 2017, she began her legal career at Aluko & Oyebode, Nigeria’s Tier 1, full-service law firm where she represented local and international clients in various areas of law. Aside being passionate about the practice of law, Chidinma is a writer and blogger and the co-founder of Legal Dilemmas Blog (www.legaldilemmas.blogspot.com). As a black female of African origin, she is passionate about the rights of women and girls in the society. This can be seen from the predominantly feminine nature of her stories on the blog. She aspires to be a United Nations Diplomat, a Chartered Arbitrator and a Justice of the Supreme Court someday.
